Linking business, community and government in Nambour

Our business has been a proud member of Nambour Alliance since 2010. The alliance keep us updated about all that is happening in Nambour, whether it be development matter, business issues or community events. We can rely on the alliance board to keep us informed of any local, state or federal government matters which directly affect our region.

Being a member has given us the opportunity to network with likeminded business people and get to know others experiencing similar changes & opportunities that Nambour has to offer, and more importantly make some great friendships.

We’d encourage nay business in Nambour and the surrounding areas to become a member of the Alliance and become involved in the business community in whatever capacity they can.

On behalf of the great bunch of volunteers at the Nambour Museum, I wanted to formally thank you for your efforts in arranging the VSC Familiarisation Tour of Nambour. Steve, Dawn and I were delighted with not only the number of visitors but also the level of interest shown by all concerned.

Clearly it would seem most had not visited the Museum previously and all were impressed with the broad range of exhibits and local history on display. We can only hope that their enthusiasm rubs off on the many tourists and visitors dropping into their respective centres in the months and years ahead.

Your tour has come at a time when there has been increased interest and assistance offered by advisory personnel within the heritage sector and augers well for the development of some more innovative design features and proactive initiatives targeting increased visitations. The Museum is a significant asset for the local community and is a “must see” when visiting and promoting the town.

Please convey our appreciation to Nambour Alliance for this excellent initiative.
