“We seek to be Kingdom-minded, honouring the whole Body of Christ, and apostolically led, embracing the ministry gifts and roles of Ephesians 4:11. We value worship as a real and abandoned encounter with the living God as well as a lifestyle. Church membership is better understood as a Kingdom partnership, with responsibilities and a shared vision rather than rights and privileges. We shape our ministries and mission according to the gifts and passions present in the house. We love and honour our Elder Brother, Israel, teaching and praying into the wholeness of our shared family. Our heart is to live as true sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven, depending on His supernatural power rather than mere natural ability. Our goal is to proclaim the whole Gospel of the Kingdom, with joy and compassion, and re-present Jesus in an irresistibly beautiful light.”
– Pastor Joel

The Nambour Bowls Club was formed in 1932 when bowlers played in whites and the bowls were black. Lawn bowls today is a much more colourful game in all respects and the iconic club which is located between the Nambour Schools and Showgrounds is a great place to visit. Renowned as the friendly club, its top class greens and night lighting are now complemented with recently upgraded clubhouse amenities.
With its large timber dance floor, dining area and pleasant rural outlook, the fully licensed venue is ideal for social functions, meetings and seminars. In 1998 a group of ladies with sons and daughters with a disability met for coffee and decided to form an organisation to help them link to the services they were looking for. For about the last five years a major area of our work has been working with and for families learning how to manage their disability funding packages. We currently have over 400 families across Queensland with most of them located in the South East of the state. We work closely with the University of the Sunshine Coast and have been involved with testing Nadia which is an online avatar project for the NDIS and are involved in working to develop a Global Diversity Centre on the Sunshine Coast in conjunction with the University and the Council. We are the Queensland Agency member of Inclusion Australian which is a National Peak body with a focus on people with an Intellectual Disability.
